[2D1N] Hoa Lu Citadel/Bai Dinh Pagoda - Trang An - Mua Cave - Cuc Phuong National Park Tour Itinerary
DAY 1: HOA LU/BAI DINH – TRANG AN – MUA CAVE (Meal included: Lunch, Dinner)
07:30 – 08:00 - Our guide will meet you at your hotel/stay and start a 110km modern bus journey through the verdant landscape of the countryside. Short brake en route.
Option 1:
10:30 – Arrive at Bai Dinh Complex, the largest pagoda, not only in Vietnam but also in Southeast Asia. Scenically set on the foot hill of Dinh Mountain surrounded by amazing views of the exquisite river valley below and dotted and the limestone karsts dotted around which will take your breath away.
You will visit some of the highlights that owned the national:500 stone statues of “La Han” (Arhats), 2 huge bronze bells, one weighing 27 tons, the other weighing 36 tons. Visit the Quan Yin statue with thousands of arms and eyes and the Gautama Buddha statue.
Option 2:
10:30 – Visit Hoa Lu Ancient Citadel with Dinh King Temple dating back to the 17th Century.
12:00 – Enjoy lunch at our restaurant with the great local cuisine.
13:00 – Leave for the Trang An Grottoes, an outstanding natural beauty of majestic limestone mountains at 20 square kilometers that rise dramatically from rice paddy fields. Deep into the linked chains of towering mountains are pristine places of mystical valleys, numerous freshwater ponds, and jungle.
Embark on a traditional sampan gently rowed down the exquisite river through numerous caves: Lam Cave, Vang Cave, Dai Cave, Thanh Truot Cave,... Cao Sơn Temple, Suoi Tien Temple, Vu Lam Temple…
15:30 – Visit Mua Cave and start an amazing trek up to the top of Ngoa Long Mountain to watch the spectacular rice valley with a specious view of nature.
17:00 – Check in Homestay/Bungalow and then you have your own time to relax, read books, or swim before dinner around 19:00, then enjoy the nighttime with a pool view bar. (The tour guide is not available until next afternoon).
DAY 02: CUC PHUONG NATIONAL PARK – HANOI (Meal included: Breakfast, Lunch)
In the morning: Breakfast served at Bungalow then check out. Our guide picks up to visit Cuc Phuong National Park.
Firstly, you will visit the langurs and the monkey, gibbons in the Endangered Primate Rescue Center, witnessing them in their natural environment. There, professional staff protect monkeys and langurs from becoming extinct. The environment is kept as close to their natural habitat as possible. Afterwards, you enjoy lunch at restaurant, recommended by your guide. Take a trekking trip into the heart of the jungle come the afternoon. You will trek inside the jungle to visit the One – Thousand – Year - Old Tree and then The Pre – Historic man’s cave if we have enough time.
16:30 – Return to our bus and then come back to Ha Noi.
18:30 – Drop you off at your hotel/stay. Trip ends.
