07:30 – 08:00: Your day begins with an exciting start as our friendly guide meets you at your hotel. Prepare yourself for a scenic 110km bus journey that will take you through the verdant landscapes of the countryside. Along the way, we'll have a short break, allowing you to stretch your legs and perhaps grab a snack or a cup of coffee.
10:00: Arrive at the awe-inspiring Bai Dinh Pagoda complex, renowned for being the largest pagoda not only in Vietnam but also in Southeast Asia. This majestic site is scenically located at the foothills of Dinh Mountain, offering unparalleled views of the river valley below. The surrounding landscape is enhanced by the picturesque limestone karsts that dot the area, creating a breathtaking backdrop that is sure to capture your heart.
The pagoda complex is a testament to the grandeur of Vietnamese traditional architecture, boasting an impressive array of massive and magnificent structures. Given its vastness, it would take a full day to explore every corner. However, we will focus on the most iconic highlights, including:
- 500 Stone Statues of La Han (Arhats): These statues represent the virtuous disciples of Buddha, each with a unique expression and posture.
